We're looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who want more than just a job—they want a meaningful career making a difference in the lives of others.

About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized support to adults receiving Home and Community-Based Services. Rather than simply providing care, you'll teach, encourage, and empower individuals to develop the skills they need to become more independent at home and in their community.

Responsibilities

As a DSP, you may:

• Support individuals in achieving goals identified in their support plans
• Teach independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, and organization
• Encourage community participation, recreation, and social engagement
• Assist with transportation to appointments, shopping, and community activities
• Provide medication reminders when appropriate
• Promote health, safety, dignity, and personal choice
• Document services accurately using our electronic documentation system
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and case managers
• Report changes in client health or behavior
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and Minnesota 245D regulations

Qualifications

Required

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Smartphone for work-related communication and documentation
• Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
